Our Mission

In 2001 God placed a call in our hearts to the mission field. In April of 2004 we received our assignment to Bogotá, Colombia. We were in the Career Track Missionary Associates Program, working with Missionaries Mike and Naomi Lawrence. We assisted the Lawrences with the design and construction of two LACC schools and also the administration of LACC for all of Colombia. We returned to the States at the end of our term, June of 2008, awaiting approval to start our next step. In November, we were approved by the World Missions Committee to return to Colombia. We will be focusing on the youth and children of the city of Medellín, a city once controlled by drug lords.

Latin America Child Care (LACC) is an organization dedicated to transforming the lives of needy children with the Good News of Jesus Christ through education and ministries of compassion. LACC sets up schools that offer education, medical and dental services, meals and of course the hope of Jesus to children and their families.

We will continue to work with youth and children; planting, developing and strengthening the churches of Colombia. We are also looking to start new LACC schools in needy areas.
