In 2001 God placed a call in our hearts to the mission field. In April of 2004 we received our assignment to Bogotá, Colombia. We were in the Career Track Missionary Associates Program, working with Missionaries Mike and Naomi Lawrence. As we were nearing the end of our term, we were approached by Latin America ChildCare (LACC) to join their team.

Latin America Child Care (LACC) is an organization dedicated to transforming the lives of needy children with the Good News of Jesus Christ through education and ministries of compassion. LACC sets up schools that offer education, medical and dental services, meals and of course the hope of Jesus to children and their families.

Tona will be working with LACC choirs; allowing many children to visit the U.S.A. to minister and give thanks for the generocity of their sponsors.

Corey will oversee construction projects for new schools and the expansion of existing schools throughout Latin America. With a background in construction, architecture, and engineering, Corey will help plan, design, and construct schools. As the Construction Department of LACC is in its beginning stages, there will be a lot of work to do; helping missionaries in their assigned countries, recruiting others to work with the new department, and finding construction teams throughout the United States that want to build for a new tomorrow.
